This is the first time that Wanzhi Steel has cooperated with the Greek customer. We overcame all difficulties and customized a solution for the customer. The customer was very satisfied and said that he would renew his order for printed color-coated coils.

Customer background

The Greek customer is the head of the company’s purchasing department. He has been purchasing PPGI coils from Europe for a long time, but due to the recent European energy crisis, production costs have risen and he began to seek a more cost-effective supply channel. So he considered the Chinese market. After communicating the purpose and use environment, the customer chose ppgi coils.

Production process

As a leading PPGI coil manufacturer in China, we have advanced production equipment and a strict quality control system.
After receiving the inquiry from the Greek customer, we quickly formed a special team to prepare for production according to the technical parameters provided by the customer (including specifications, thickness, zinc layer weight, coating type, etc.).

Color and width check

Use high-performance polyester coating, after primer, topcoat, curing, and other processes, to form a colorful and weather-resistant coating.

Inspection: Strict size, appearance, and performance inspection of the finished product to ensure customer satisfaction.

Packing method

In order to protect the PPGI coil from damage during long-distance transportation, we use this packaging method: moisture-proof paper + steel strapping + wooden pallet.

Labeling: Clearly mark product information, specifications, weight, production date, etc. on the outer packaging to facilitate customer identification and inventory.

Transportation

Considering the transportation cost and timeliness, we choose sea transportation.

Contact the cargo ship to declare customs and load the ship. The goods depart from Qingdao Port, China, and arrive at the customer’s hands after about 30 days of voyage.

About PPGI coil

Steel coil substrate thickness

The thinner the color-coated steel coil, the higher the price. For example, the price of 0.13-0.16mm is relatively high, the price of 0.3-0.45mm changes less, and the price of 0.45-0.7mm is basically the same. The thinner the color-coated steel coil, the more meters of steel coil per ton, and the larger the area. It will use more paint and a longer processing time.

Recommended zinc layer application

General use environment:
Choose color-coated steel coils with an aluminum content of about 25%.

Humid, outdoor and tropical climates：
Choose PPGI coils with high aluminum and zinc content.
